Recently, Kerun successfully delivered a centralized fluid supply system. The client is a well-known enterprise in the carbide field with a high proportion of overseas business. They hold the top domestic market share for tricone drill bits used in copper, iron, and coal mining and rank among the top three in markets such as Australia and South America. They are direct suppliers to global iron ore giants like BHP and Rio Tinto.
The client’s site employs a consumable-free filtration method, utilizing a filtration main unit with a flow rate of 72m³/h, tailored to meet the flow requirements of the machine tools. Additionally, to satisfy the filtration precision requirements of the client's machining centers, a precision filter with a 20μm filtration accuracy is configured. The system’s primary functions include: automatic fluid mixing with 1%-50% accuracy at ±0.1%, automatic monitoring of cutting fluid concentration, conductivity, pH, and temperature, vacuum oil skimming with an oil removal rate of over 95%, and ozone sterilization technology. This equipment will help the client increase the utilization rate of cutting fluids and achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement goals.
